CONSTITUTION.

• The Association shall be called Cumann Seanchais Dunmaonmhui (translated as Dunmanway Historical Association) and membership shall be open to such persons as shall be prepared to accept the Constitution and rules of the Association.
• THE OBJECTS of the Association shall be to arrange lectures of historical interest, to investigate and research any matters, books or matters likely to yield historical information; to collect and publish material of local historical interest; to arrange excursions or visits to places or matters of historical interest, and to promote good feelings and harmonious exchange amongst its members, and generally to undertake or assist in such objects as may appear to be conducive to the interests of the Association.

Books and Research Material

We have an extensive library of books - ranging from Irish history to local history, genealogy, archeaology and folklore. Come along and browse through any of these in the peace and quiet of The Heritage Centre.
